American Stereotypes

Now we’ll mention the most recognisable American stereotypes:

1. Americans are fat...
A lot of people think that Americans are all obese. That is not true, it’s only a strereotype. America has a big obesity rate, but not all American peolple are obese, only a group of them.
In fact only 30% of the population are obese.
Some of our American friends have already debunked this stereotype on their blog.

2. Americans are violent...
Americans are said to be violent because of all the guns that exist in the country and also because of the laws that allow everybody to have a gun at home and use it.

3. American people don’t know much about other countries…
Geography;
Culture;
Traditions.

4. Americans have huge and “pimped” cars
5. Inner States are conservative in their way of thinking.

We know stereotypes give wrong information about people.
We don’t want to offend anyone with these stereotypes.
